| Please Note |

The below serves as a typical structure to our day, however, activities may vary according to individual childrens needs, weather and other variables as they arise.

Whilst we try to provide a homely environment to children who attend my setting, I also try to créate a good balance between indoor and outdoor activities.

Our work days are Monday to Friday and this is how we segment our day:

Full Day: 8:00 AM – 18:00 PM Half day:
Mornings 8:00 AM -13:00 PM
Afternoons: 13:00 PM - 18:00 PM

| 8:00AM - 9:00AM Tick-Tock Time & Breakfast |

This is the time of the day welcome our morning arrivers

Parents put their prams in the secure purpose-built pram shed outside at the bottom of our driveway.

Children take their shoes and jackets off and hang them on their individual pegs.

We invite the children who have arrived to the circle-time area to join in the morning group time to welcome all the children for the day.

We encourage parents to say their goodbyes quickly as this enforces the daily routine and increases the childs confidence in the setting.

Once the children are settled in, have all said hello to each other and the members of staff we open the main playroom and start the first activities of the day.

Tick-Tock Time Is from 8:00am - 9:00am
We highly encourage parents to arrive promptly as this stage of the day is extremely important for children to socialise, feel welcomed in the setting overcome shyness and increase their confidence.

| 9:00AM - 10:30 AM Morning Activities & Snacks |

Depending on the weather children will take part in indoor or outdoor activities

Whilst we have free indoor or outdoor play, we also plan activities which are designed to help children develop key EYFS skills

Typically between 10:00AM - 10:30AM we will also sit for helthy morning snacks consisting of fruits and vegetables

As mentioned in 'Our Food' we try to encourage healthy food choices and provide organic and ethically sourced produce wherever possible.

After we have finished morning activities and snacks we take this opportunity to encourage children to use the toilet and toilet train any children who are at the appropriate age to use the potty / toilet appropriately.

After these activities are completed, children are allowed free play through to Lunch Time which takes place at 12:00PM/12:30PM approximately.

| 12:00/30PM - 1:30PM Lunchtime | Nap Time > 3:30 - 4:00PM |

At 1:00PM we say goodbye to our half day children.

Between 1:30/2:00PM, the younger children go to their nap time which usually lasts through till about 3:30pm/4:00pm depending on each child's sleep necessity.

The older children (typically at around ages3-4) stay up for quiet activities indoor, or go to play in the front side garden or the back garden.
